MIDI Serial Interface (5v) (with Thru & LED indicators)
Compact 5V MIDI Serial Interface board designed for connecting MIDI instruments to microcontrollers, DIY synth projects, and custom Arduino-based instruments. This fully assembled interface provides reliable MIDI input, output, and thru functionality, along with a clean serial interface for easy integration into embedded systems and experimental audio projects.
Built using a 6N138 optocoupler for proper MIDI input isolation and a 74HC14 hex inverter for signal conditioning and stability, ensuring dependable MIDI communication in both standalone and embedded applications.
LED indicators provide visual feedback for MIDI activity, making debugging and live operation easier.
